"127 Hours"

Just watched 127 Hours, the true story of Aron Ralston, a rock climber who became trapped while climbing alone.  A small boulder came loose causing him to fall.  When he landed, his arm was wedged between the boulder and the canyon wall.

It's a story of what a human being is capable of doing in order to survive.  It's not for the faint at heart but I highly recommend it.

Always leave a note.

I'm guessing he's now learned the adage about never involving yourself in a dangerous sport without involving someone else as UR backup?!

Todd - I don't think I could do it either. But then again when I start thinking about my wife and kids I might be surprised at what I'm capable of.

He actually had to break his arm before he could cut it off.

Dominik12 - I mountain bike and sometimes I'm by myself, even in remote places. But I always make sure someone knows where I am going, when I should be back and I don't change my planned route.
